Do your kids (or you) love peanut butter cups? So, my son was not at all upset this morning when I made him a Keto Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie.

It’s easy to make with minimal ingredients but packs a big flavor! Also, I am positive he will not mind if this smoothie makes a regular appearance on our family’s weekly meal plan.

The ChocZero syrup and chocolate chips gave it something extra special too! It makes a mom’s heart feel great to know I can give him a sugar free chocolate syrup that tastes AMAZING (and its also ethically sourced and GMO free).

If you have not gotten this Syrup yet you are really missing out!

Making the Keto Peanut Butter Cup Smoothie

First, you need gather the ingredients.  For this smoothie you will need 1 cup of almond milk, 1 cup of ice, 1/2 an avocado (which comes out to be about 1/4 cup if you used frozen avocados), 3 Tbsp Monkfruit, 2 tablespoons natural creamy peanut butter, and 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder.

Make sure the peanut butter is truly natural. Read the ingredient labels before purchasing. Natural peanut butter should only contain peanuts and salt.  Nothing else.

The avocado is used to increase the healthy fats in this smoothie. In addition it also helps make the smoothie thick and creamy too. Plus if you are truing to get your kids to east healthier they will never know there was an avocado involved!

Then just add all of the ingredients into the blender and blend well.

Last, pour the blended smoothing into a glass. Then top with desired.

For my topping I whipped some heavy cream in my Ninja Blender. Then added a dollop of it on top.  Finally I drizzled it with the ChocZero Chocolate Syrup and added a few ChocZero Chocolate Chips.
